Gin Baubles from the Lakes Distillery

Get into the spirit of Christmas with gin-filled baubles.

We were sent a set of gin-filled baubles from The Lakes Distillery for review. Gin baubles from The Lakes Distillery are available in either a set of 6 x 5cl baubles or as one big 20cl bauble.

The set of six baubles has three different flavours of gin: the original The Lakes Gin; The Lakes Damson Gin and The Lakes Sloe Gin Liqueur.  The Lakes gin is made using locally sourced Cumbrian juniper which grows wild in the fells. The gin uses 13 other native botanicals including bilberry, meadowsweet and heather, and it is distilled with fresh flowing water from the River Darwent.

The baubles themselves are made from sturdy plastic so you don’t need to worry about accidental smashing if things get a bit raucous around the tree!  The plastic has been treated to ensure it doesn’t interfere with the taste of these handcrafted spirits. The eco-conscious among us can also wash them out and re-fill them next Christmas!

The Lakes Distillery gin baubles retail at £34.99 for the 6 x 5cl set, or £19.99 for the single 20cl bauble.
