#OctoberLetters

Some of you may recall that I gave up social media for Lent. And for September, I’ve been experimenting with cutting out sugar. I decided it might be fun to have a challenge for October too, so I asked around a bit.

Someone on Facebook suggested that I write a letter a day, and I thought that was a lovely idea. So from Octobest 1st, I will be writing a letter every day.

I don’t know about you, but I love to receive a letter in the post. And I think letter writing has become something of a dead art these days. We’re all too busy emailing or Facebooking or Tweeting each other, that when it comes to putting pen to paper, we all now have GP’s handwriting, and can barely managed “Happy Birthday from Vicky” before throwing the pen down in anguish. I propose to bring back the lost art of letter writing – into my own home, at least

31 letters… that’s a lot of letter writing! I’d better get myself down to the shops and buy some nice stationery!

I will try to post photos and perhaps blog about what I’m doing as I go… there will probably be more photos than blogs to be honest!

All that remains now is to compile a list of 31 people who would like to receive a letter. If you would like to be added to my list, please fill in the form below – and cross your fingers I don’t get more than 31 responses!

Great idea, I love my post circle and pen pals, need to prioritise it over social media though. 31 letters is a lot!!! Good luck, can’t wait to read your posts ;)

Thanks! I’ve not checked for a couple of days, but I think now I have 31 for the 31 days, and am now doubling up on days!
