#DayInTheLife (1)
Today’s #DayInTheLife is from Alan at Life With Baby Pink & The Boys. Alan turns 40 this Summer and was born to Irish parents though adopted by Americans. He spent time in an orphanage runs by nuns and a boarding school for emotionally disturbed children. Diagnosed with depression, he’s worked in many industries: retail, hospitality, food and customer service. Alan moved to Ireland 10 years ago and is now a stepfather to two boys, father to a son and now also a daughter, Baby Pink!
This is a day in Alan’s life…

No two days in my life are the same. The only constant is coffee.

So Ill document today Friday 8th May 2015.

#BabyPink had a rough night! As I do night feeds, I also had a rough night. It does mean I get a lie in. Herself makes packed lunches and gets boys ready.

I wake at 8.30, dressed, coffee and off to school.

Straight home and into my old clothes to finish painting the sitting room, ready for #BabyPinks christening.

Finished just in time to collect Buddy, my youngest from school at 2 and off to the park for some One on One time.

Back to school at 3 to collect big two boys. Nip into home for them to change and off to cousins for her BackdaBackughters confirmation.

Back into the car full of Chinese, its handy having a cousin whose godfather owns a Chinese takeaway.

We arrive home at 8. #BabyPink ready for bottle and bed.

Friday night is game night. Number 2 sons turn to choose. Monopoly on the Xbox. Brilliant no one can cheat. It does make it harder for me to try not to win though.

Teeth brushed tucked into bed by 9.30.

Time to blog on phone whilst Herself watches soaps. Posts written and scheduling done. Off to bed, until #BabyPink wakes.

Good night; see you on twitter tomorrow.

Alan is taking part in my #DayInTheLife project, a series of posts where people write about their typical day. If you would like to take part, please fill in the form on my blog post here.
