S loves to do arts and crafts (especially if they involve glitter) so when Bedroom Storage Maker, maker of wardrobe storage solutions challenged us to make some Christmas decorations, we jumped at the chance.
We started off with a simple kit for making Christmas angels. S enjoyed being able to stick the pre-cut parts together without help.
It was serious work!
The finished angels were very sweet and look perfect for our tree!
Next we moved onto something a little more… free-hand: Christmas bunting. We had ghost and bat bunting on our stairs for Halloween, and this was replaced with Miffy bunting for a while – but we decided it was time for some Christmas love. S and De Af cut pieces of coloured foam into Christmassy shapes…
… and then we cracked out a serious amount of glitter glue and sparkles. There was so much glitter glue involved, we had to leave our decorations for several days to dry out thoroughly before we assembled our bunting…
S managed to peg all of the shapes onto the thread all by herself, and was very proud of her efforts.
We’ve lots more Christmas craftiness planned; keep an eye on our Instagram to see what we’re up to!
