S is always excited to receive post, and when two starter packs of  Num Noms series 3 arrived, she was really excited!

What are Num Noms?

It’s a valid question! They are the latest range of collectible toys – but what makes these different is that they are scented. The characters are scented, pretend food that comes with baskets, spoons etc so that you can play with them.

In case you were wondering, the difference between Nums and Noms is this: Nums are the larger, squishy, hollow ones that go over the top of the smaller, solid Nums. Noms are usually either a stamp or an eraser. There you go; every day is a school day!

Each Num Nom has a name, and like all collectibles, they come with a checklist so that you can mark which ones you’ve collected. S loves anything that comes with a checklist, and with these being bright and colourful and scented as well, it was a safe bet she would love them!

There are 85 Num Noms to collect in Series 3; by stacking Nums on top of Noms you can create over 1500 sweet combinations.

What do you get in a Num Noms Series 3 Starter Pack?

A Num Noms series 3 started pack comes with 3 nums, one nom (either eraser or stamp) and a crate/basket and utensil (fork or spoon). The ones you see S playing with in the photo above are a mixture of the 2 starter packs she received.

What else can you get in the series?

As well as the starter pack you can get a Lunchbox, which contains more than double what comes in the starter pack: ten Nums and two Noms.

There are also the smaller surprise packs which contain a Num and a Nom.

There are also lots of other sets, limited editions and larger toys for children to collect – it’s the latest obsession in this house!

Num Noms are available from all good toy shops; we even saw some in the supermarket the other day!
