Welcome to this week’s card reading, which is using the Daily Guidance From Your Angels deck.
Here’s how this works: take a deep breath and calm your thoughts. If you have a specific question, hold it in your mind as you look at the image below, and choose the card or cards you feel most drawn to. Once you’ve chosen your card, scroll down to take a look at your reading.
Next week’s reading could be with a different deck of cards. Keep an eye out on Facebook for a poll as to which one I should use.
Don’t forget to please leave a comment either here or on Facebook (or you can send me a private message if you prefer) to let me know how you get on. I really appreciate your feedback as it helps me to know not only that you’ve read the post, but also that you have found it useful and want me to continue with these readings.
I’m working on getting a proper shop set up on the site, so hopefully you will be able to order through there soon!
Here are this week’s cards:
1.Giving & Receiving
The entire universe operates in cycles similar to your inhalations and exhalations. When you only exhale (give) or inhale (receive), you become out of rhythm with the universe. For optimal health, energy and replenishment, balance each inhalation in your life with an exhalation.
This card is all about balance. But rather than keeping a tally of what you owe to each individual, and what they owe to you, it’s about the overall balance of your life. If you have been giving a lot lately, sit back and allow yourself to receive. If you have been receiving a lot, find ways to help and give to others. Often if we sit and calm our thoughts, our intuition knows which way we need to move in order to balance the scale.
This week, consider where you need to give or receive in order to balance your life.
2. What do you desire?
You now have the opportunity to write the script according to your heart’s true desires. Once you clearly decide upon your true desires and know that you’re ready and deserving of them, they’ll rush into your life as if by magic.
How can get what you really want, if you’re not even sure what it is that you want? It’s time to really pay attention to your desires, and figure out what you want. That may relate to your career, your relationship, your living situation. You don’t need to be overly specific, for example stating the colour of door your new home should have – but you do need to know that you would like a home with a garden or a large kitchen, for example. Don’t be swayed by the latest trends or what your friends want – or by what friends and family may want for you. This is about your heart’s true desire and nobody else’s. Once you are clear on what you want, you can manifest it.
This week, spend time daydreaming and thinking about what you would really like your life to look like.
3. See only love
Look past the seeming errors, mistakes and misunderstandings and see only the love within each person (including yourself). Your resolute focus upon the love that underlies every situation brings about healing in undreamed-of ways.
When someone irritates us or upsets us, whether we know them or not, we can be quick to jump to judgement and list all the things they have done wrong. This is normal, but not helpful. At the end of the day, we are all only doing the best we can with what we have and that often makes all of us careless when it comes to other people. That person who wronged you so terribly was just trying to make himself feel a little better, by any means necessary. You don’t need an apology; you don’t need revenge; you don’t need to show them the error of their ways. All you need to do is learn the lesson they came here to teach you, and to see that they are made from love, just as you are. We are all only love.
This week, whenever you have a negative or judgemental thought about another person, remind yourself that they are made from the same love you are. Send them love instead of judgement, and see how much better you feel for it.
4. Acceptance
See yourself and others through the eyes of the angels, with uncoditional love and acceptance. In this way, you inspire and lift everyone to their highest potential.
It can be really hard to accept both ourselves and others exactly as we are, without wishing for something to change. I like him, but I wish he didn’t… or she’s great, but … These things are not helpful. The only thing we can change in any given situation is ourselves. And you can’t change yourself even, until you accept what you are right now. Acceptance of ourselves is not about giving up and admitting defeat; rather it is about saying This is my starting point. Acceptance of others is essential; we cannot and should not change them. If there is an aspect of another person we don’t like, we either accept it, or we accept that our differences are too great and we cannot be in each other’s lives. Which is better?
This week, practice accepting every person and situation exactly as it is. The queue for the checkouts in the supermarket; a work colleague’s annoying habit of talking over you; a rude person not holding the door for you. Accept it, acknowledge it. Notice the discomfort this situation creates in your mind, and let it go.
