Weekly weigh in 12

 

Urgh. I’ve been eating sugar. I feel crappy for it but as yet, that’s not stopped me.

Goal for last week

Last week’s goal was to eat actual meals. I’ve done ok with that; I’ve started buying steak and cooking that in the evenings. I am severely lacking in imagination though, which is not ideal.

Goal for this week

This week’s goal is to stop the sugar! It’s slowly crept back into my diet, eating little bits here and there. Things like ice cream and sharing chocolate with S. Silly things that I don’t even particularly like or fancy.

Exercise

I’ve managed more than 10,000 steps a few times this week. More than previous weeks, but still not 7 days.

Food/Drink

 

I’ve been eating more protein, which is good and I feel better for it – but the sugar has crept back in. S likes to share with me and I feel awful not taking it when she gives me a chocolate button or something. That’s no excuse really is it, since I know I shouldn’t be buying her things like that in the first place! But that’s what’s been happening and I’m fairly sure it will have affected my weight and measurements this month since as I write this I feel bloated and horrible  – and my hernia is not happy!

Weight & Measurements

Weight: 164 lb one pound on
Neck: 14″ same as last week
Bust: 36.5″ same as last week
Waist: 34.5″ same as last week
Hips: 38.5″ same as last week
R&L Thigh: 23″/23″ Same as last week
R&L Calf: 14.5″/14.5″ Same as last week

I actually can’t believe I’ve not put more weight on, or increased the size of my waist! My hernia feels really horrible at the moment and I feel generally a bit crap. This week’s photo was taken with a proper camera; the previous 11 were taken with my mobile on a selfie stick but my mobile died over the weekend so I had to get my sister to take one for me. Despite the fact it shows my chins, I do think there’s still a difference from the original photo below.

So for this week, I need to sort my shit out and stop eating the food I know makes me feel crappy! Wish me luck!

Hun, we all have those times when we just want to eat sugar. I’ve been like that this week too. I think you’re doing so well and as long as you keep going it’ll be fine. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself – it could make things worse. Good luck, I believe in you! xx

Your skin looks lovely on the current photo so can’t be too bad! It’s so hard going sugar-free. I know I couldn’t do it so hats off too you. I bet having that bit more protein is helping as you will fuller and less tempted to pick. Well done on the 10,000 steps and see you next week xx #bloggingtojogging

    Thanks Sarah. I know the sugar makes me feel crappy and it messes up my skin as well as my hernia so giving up is the only way!

    Thanks, I just feel like an idiot – my skin is really bad again and my hernia is just ridiculous, I know both will clear up once I can cut the sugar back again though.

Lots of difference from the first photo – you just look more upbeat and your skin is glowing!
Ohhhh steak is one of my favourite meals at the moment with lots of onion and mushrooms – SW friendly apparently… I just love steak so am sticking with it. I’m having it tonight actually!

Saying no when your mini me is offering you something is hard, especially when they keep trying to give it to you. It gets better with age, my mini me offers now and if I refuse, happily pops it in her own mouth… win win! ;)

    Thanks Sim. I am loving the steak at the moment. I got a fillet steak from the reduced counter in Tesco yesterday and it was gorgeous!!
